Occupational Safety and Health – Accident Investigation Course
This two day course in Occupational Safety and Health Accident Investigations is designed for safety professionals, safety representatives or anyone
responsible for investigating accidents or incidents.Apart from learning fundamental investigative techniques and methodologies participants will also be taught incident scene management and preservation in line with proposed changes in the harmonization of Australian Occupational Safety and Health legislation.

- Complaint/Allegation/Incident Assessment
- Investigation Plan
- Scene Examination and Preservation in line with requirements of the OSH legislation
- Chain of Evidence
- Taking a Statement
- Interview and Questioning Techniques
- PEACE model
- Procedural Fairness and Natural Justice
- Analysis and Findings
- Writing an Incident Review Report
The facilitators at Nella Global are all former high level public sector investigators who all hold formal qualifications. The course has been formulated and designed by them and teaches the most contemporary industry techniques.
Scenario based activities will be utilised in the course to allow participants to practice skills learnt.
Course cost is $850 (excludes GST) and includes: Workbook & Resources, morning/afternoon tea & lunch.
